He sent Rudy Abel and his Comfort Crew out to install dense-packed cellulose insulation between the garage ceiling and floor. We accessed the bays through holes drilled on the external walls of the house, and injected the dense-packing cellulose in the cavities with powerful equipment. This garage will no longer be a burden to this homeowner!

This Woodbridge homeowner was experiencing uneven temperatures that were making her home uncomfortable. She did some research and decided to call the efficiency experts at Dr. Energy Saver of CT to help her find a solution. 

The solution for this Woodbridge home was to install spray foam insulation to the attic framing. Traditional fiberglass insulation was not sufficient in protecting this home because it would still allow unwanted air to flow through the attic. Exposed and leaky air ducts can be a huge source of energy loss in the home. To make the heating and cooling system more efficient and less costly, we insulated the ductwork with our Spray Foam insulation and TruSoft blown cellulose. Blown Cellulose exceeds the insulation value of fiberglass, with R-values as high as R-4 per inch because it perfecly fills all the nooks within wall cavities and around duct work. And unlike fiberglass insulation, which can't stop air movement, Spray Foam insulation is effective in slowing or stopping air leaks that can waste energy and cause cold drafts.
