Insulation Installation in Easton, CT

Insulation Installation in Easton, CT

Before After
Insulation Installation in Easton, CT Insulation Installation in Easton, CT

This Easton, CT family was experiencing colder than usual temperatures in their home, and quickly found most of their troubles were coming from their garage. It's essential to insulate the garage ceiling if there is living space above the garage. Without it, the rooms above can become extremely uncomfortable, especially during New England winters. They gave us a call at Dr. Energy Saver of Connecticut, and we were happy to come and help them find a solution!

Dan Kiley and his team came out, and quickly installed a spray foam over the garage ceiling. They used a closed cell spray foam, which cures as a dense, hard material that seals off the space from both moisture and air. It has a great resistance to air and water vapor, while blocking and absorbing sound. Once it cures, their home will be much warmer in the winter, and much cooler in the summer! We left this family knowing they would be much more comfortable in their home!

Job Stories From Easton, CT
CleanSpace and SilverGlo in Easton, CT

This Easton basement was poorly insulated which caused for an uncomfortable home. Air leakage was a big concern for this homeowner and she wanted to find a solution. She did her research and decided to call Dr. Energy Saver of Connecticut and set an appointment to help her find a solution.

On the day of the appointment, Jeremy Bosssio arrived at the home to inspect the situation. He concluded that the reasons for her uncomfortable home were due to lack of insulation and cracks and openings that were present in the basement. He suggested that in order to solve her concerns, insulation and CleanSpace encapsulation would be needed. Jeremey reviewed each product with the homeowner and set up a day for installation.

On the day of installation, Foreman Rudy Abel and his team arrived at the home and went straight to work. They first removed the little insulation that was in the basement to have a clean, fresh start. Next, they air sealed the entire basement to prevent any cracks or holes for air to leak through. CleanSpace encapsulation was the next product to be installed. The CleanSpace liner is installed over the entire basement to prevent any moisture from entering. Lastly, SilverGlo was installed to the walls of the basement to properly insulate the area. This insulation will also act as a radiant barrier and is also durable and waterproof!

This is exactly what the homeowner wanted and was very pleased with her transformed basement. She is happy with her comfortable home.
