Testimonials for Dr. Energy Saver Of Connecticut

This happy customer used our services twice. First it was our waterproofing division to fix the basement. Then our Dr. Energy Saver Division helped make her home more comfortable and energy efficient. The insulation that was done made those areas sound proof!!! "They've been wonderful, picking up everything, house is tight as a drum now. Basement? No water! Fantastic because I used to get a couple of inches of water every spring."

From the initial sales call to completed project everyone at Connecticut Basement Systems was knowledgeable and professional. Rudy and the installation crew are awesome. The office staff were very professional. My salesman, Chad, was very knowledgeable and guided me through what would be best for my house. The crew was great during cleanup. Aces all the way. I am so happy I hired Connecticut Basement Systems. I hired the company because I believe Larry Janesky’s organization is successful from top to bottom. Thank you all so much I couldn’t be happier with the job you did for me.

We have an old house.  It was built in 1940, but we think it was earlier than that.  When we first bought the house, everyone said “It’s a good starter home for you.”  Well, we are still here.  Anyone who owns an old home can tell you that the projects never end.  And when they do you start all over again.  We had replaced our old oil burning furnace and gas hot water tank a few years back, but recently they both decided to die at the same time.  When we had that wicked below zero cold snap around Christmas time, our burner was not working.  We were using space heaters and the fire place. We had drafts all the time and this kept the furnace running more consistently.   We found out about Dr. Energy through the Smart E- Loan Program with the Connecticut Green Bank.  They were listed as one of the contractors.  With the type of loan we got (bundle) we were able to get a few things done: insulation, windows, and furnace/hot water heater. I felt a lot of confidence in Dr. Energy Saver of CT knowing that they were being recommended by the Green Bank. Since our house was so old, there was no insulation in the walls. Dr. Energy Saver of CT  installed Dense Pack TruSoft Cellulose and we noticed immediately the drafts were gone. In addition to the insulation, we also upgraded our windows.  The house has been upgraded to save money on our energy costs. So far we have only had one oil delivery for the year.  We expect one more.  But before we had all the work done, we probably spent close to an extra $1,000 on oil.  We are anxious to see how this will translate in the spring and summer when they complete installing the new windows in the house.  I can tell already, from the basement windows, that we will experience a big difference not to mention how much more modern the house looks.  The improvements we have made over the years, we have tried to keep some of the old house charm combined with modern upgrades.  The windows should surely help escalate the house’s value. We worked with Keith Saunders as our salesman.  Keith was low key, knowledgeable, and informative.  At first we were not planning to be as expansive in our project, but Keith broke everything down in a graphic and detailed manner so we knew what was both feasible and necessary.  He was in constant contact with me during the financing phase and helped coordinate with both the CT Green Bank and our lender.  Johnny and his crew handled the insulation and the basement windows.  They were clean, efficient, and professional. They explained everything beforehand, left no messes, and tried to stay as unobtrusive to our family routine as possible.  They had to detach the outside siding in order to blow in the insulation.  When they had finished, I could not tell where they had removed the siding. One thing that surprised me about working with Dr. Energy Saver of CT was how fast the work got done.  The workers were clean ( as far as not leaving any messes) and how much of a change we felt in the house.  We felt like, “Why didn’t we do this a long time ago!”  We would definitely refer Dr. Energy to my neighbors or anyone interested in energy improvements in the house.  They are knowledgeable, polite, and hard working.  They really seem interested in helping you have a better living environment.

We were pleased with your team and the job they did. They were so efficient--clean, neat, and careful. They were punctual, pleasant, and helpful. What more can I say--we give them all our thumbs up! In addition, we thank the office staff who called us regarding the cancellation. It is a miracle to have this done before Thanksgiving!

Dear Mr. Janesky, This correspondence is in regard to an attic insulation project done by your company in May of 2016. It was what my wife and I consider to have been a hot and dirty project involving the removal of two layers of fiber glass insulation that was replaced with over a foot of cellulose-fiber insulation. This blown in insulation was to be a deterrent t mice. However, on my visit to the attic on Monday, 4/17/17, i found many runways and holds apparently created by overwhelming mice. My prime reason for the visit was to reclaim a drop-light and extension cord that I found securely entrapped under the walkway. My wife called your office on Monday, 4/17/17 and expressed our concern over the many holes and surface trails in and on the insulation. We were told someone would be out to check on the situation. Much to our pleasant surprise, Greg Lock called the next day, came by and immediately went to work. Removal of the lamp and cord involved removal of three eight foot walkway panels plus the foam blocks underneath plus restoration. Gregg’s next objective was to locate where the mice were getting in.  It appears that the power panel and distribution raceway from the garage under the attic was the access area. Fortunately, Greg came prepared with enough material in his truck to plug and seal all suspect areas. My wife and I want to express our most sincere thanks and praise for the expertise and determination that Greg exhibited while on our premises. He is truly a quality professional and you should be proud to have him as a valued employee.  With appreciation for your service, Mr & Mrs. S

We were exceptionally pleased with Dr. Energy Saver of Connecticut, right from the signing of the contract with Greg Lock to the final installation. Rudy, Clive, and Moises could not have been nicer and more concerned, working diligently to make sure their job was done. The production coordinator, Traci, did an exceptional job with answering all of my questions and concerns. Although the project was invasive, it still ended up being a good experience!
