I am remodeling my 100 year old home and turned to Dr. Energy Saver for advice.  Larry was very knowledgable and gave me advice not only on what they should do for us, but on how my general contractor should treat the exterior walls as I was having all the siding replaced.  They insulated my basement, sealed my basement and rim joist, replaced my old basement windows with new energy efficient vinyl windows, and they even waterproofed my basement and installed a TripleSafe sump pump system and a SaniDry basement air system.  The basement is totally transformed.  I plan on having Dr. Energy Saver back to my home when we are ready to insulate and air seal the attic.  I'm glad I found them and recommend them to anyone who wants to make their home more energy efficient!

This house is 101 years old. It was built in 1910. The advice we have gotten to seal our basement and to insulate our walls and to make our house more energy efficient in this day and age, has been very helpful and we've been implementing these things through the process. We are very happy with all of the advice and all of the service that we have received. Dr. Energy Saver insulated our basement with a beautiful vapor barrier insulation system. The water problem in the basement has been rectified. We had no curtain drains, we had a water issue in the basement, and now all the basement has been sealed. We have had two major storms and everything is dry. Thank you very much!

We worked with you to have our attic sealed and insulated back in 2014. This past fall, we had you back to have our basement sealed, crawl space encapsulated, a new triple safe sump, a Sedona dehumidifier and we also had insulation blown into an area where our first floor overhangs the foundation. I am writing because the basement is amazingly warm and dry now but today especially I am appreciating the blown insulation. In the past, on days like today (-5/10 degrees), the floor in a section of our living room was so cold you couldn't walk on it with bare feet. Today we made a point of feeling it and even with the extreme cold outside, the floor felt great! Hi Steve,   Thank you so much for following up on me. The Sanidry Sedona De-humidifier is working wonderfully. The guys did a very nice job and were extremely professional with that. They made sure I had my unit, pump, and tubes placed exactly where I wanted them, and they went out of their way to make sure my unit was working properly. They even helped afterwards with registering my unit, and showed me how everything worked before they left.  As you know I had a terrible experience with another company that did the previous insulation on my attic. You went out of your way to make sure you answered all my questions and you definitely earned my trust. You were checking on me during the whole process, and even went out of your way afterwards to make sure the project was done correctly. I really couldn't thank you enough.   My attic not only looks great, but I literally do not even need to turn the heat on upstairs in my house. I put my heat on 68 degrees downstairs, and we are toasty throughout the whole house all day and night. The guys who came to do the attic were so thorough and understanding. I was able to see every step of the process and make sure everything was done correctly. Dr. Energy Saver showed me where I was losing the most energy in my home, which happened to be through the attic due to insufficient insulation. They installed the right amount of insulation, built a storage deck, sealed up open gaps where I was losing my heat and air conditioning, and also found and fixed a huge void that I didn't even know existed! I noticed a difference in the house by the next day. My heat was not kicking on as much and no more huge icicles hanging from my gutters!
