Our team insulated and sealed this Glastonbury home's Cape Cod style roof using dense pack drywall and TruSoft cellulose insulation.
Our team used spray foam to reduce heat loss and cold air infiltration by sealing and insulating the rim joist area with closed-cell polyurethane spray foam in addition to installing insulation on the wall above the oil tank. Closed-cell spray foam is resistant to water and air intrusion and won't support mold growth, keeping your basement clean, dry and free from musty, moldy odors!
In order to reduce ice damming and the moisture within this Glastonbury home's basement, our team insulated and sealed the Cape Cod roof using drywall and blowing in TruSoft cellulose insulation. Our team extended the bath vent to the gable end vent of the attic as well.
